Waiting

Waiting…

This picture brings many ideas to my mind. They are so cute! Don’t you want a puppy! Is Leigh working for the pound now? Yes, they are cute, I always want a puppy, and no, I don’t work for the pound, but if I did I would have way too many animals.

The story behind this picture is this: Every day, at the same time, they wait for him… He comes… and they play and play and play some more until they are all tired. Wouldn’t it be great if we all had friends like this… no words needed… they just intuitively recognize the value of each other in their lives and act accordingly.

The best thing is, we already have this possibility in our lives. How could we not? All who are interested can become Christians. And all Christians have every day, all day long, that one someone who is waiting for us. That one someone is Christ. Christ wants to walk with us, Christ wants to play with us so long that we all need a nap. Christ wants to have long talks with us about everything, Christ wants to be in such a good relationship with us that there are no words needed.

The question for us is do we befriend Christ, or do we leave Him waiting…?

Let’s talk about it.
